Cruciferous vegetables and prostate cancer

October 21, 2013 blackfriar

"I do not like broccoli. And I haven't liked it since I was a little kid and my mother made me eat it. And I'm President of the United States and I'm not going to eat any more broccoli." George H W Bush

Cruciferous vegetables may reduce recurrence of prostate cancer and the metastatic spread of prostate cancer. It doesn’t need that much broccoli – 1 serve a week vs 1 serve a month seems to make a difference. Why wouldn’t anyone eat broccoli.
